PunchLink is the dedicated industrial project management tool that finally connects the field (what really happens on site) to finance (who pays what, when and how much). Where other tools manage isolated parts — a schedule, a snag list, an invoice — PunchLink covers the entire project cycle, from the first purchase order to the end of the performance guarantee.

2. First Steps
Connect to www.punchlink.app/app/. On the dashboard, click Projects, then + New Project. Fill in: short code (e.g. ACIER-LOR-2026), descriptive name, type (revamping, extension, decarbonation, etc.), industry sector, key dates (start, planned end, MES), budget envelope.
3. Lots & Items
A lot represents a supply or work scope assigned to one contractor (e.g. Stainless steel piping, Steel structure). A lot contains items (the concrete elements) and progresses through weighted phases (Studies → Procurement → Prefabrication → FAT → Delivery → Installation → SAT → Tests → Provisional Reception → Snags lifted → Regulatory PVs → Final Reception → Warranty → Performance Guarantee).
Each item has a weight (in %) — the sum equals 100. Lot progress is the weighted average of item progress. This is the key to billing by situations: instead of paying approximately, each invoice corresponds to real measured progress.
4. Reserves Module
A reserve is a defect that must be addressed before the last retention is paid or the lot is closed. PunchLink manages the full cycle: field declaration with photo + voice (6 languages), automatic notification to the contractor, kanban workflow, proposed lifting, verification, settled.
A reserve flagged as blocking payment prevents the release of the warranty retention until settled. This is where quality and payment are linked — the value proposition of PunchLink.
5. Orders & Payments
A situation is a payment request linked to validated progress. The contractor declares progress → CDP/DO validates → the situation is auto-generated: progress % × lot amount − retention. PunchLink calculates in real-time the cumulative retention, GPA end date, and amount to release on final lifting. No manual entry. Stripe payments triggered directly from orders (Pro/Enterprise tier).
6. HSE Module
HSE = Health, Safety, Environment. PunchLink covers both the short cycle (PPE, housekeeping, paperwork) and the long cycle (incidents, near-misses, environmental). 4 sub-modules: Events / Work Permits / Authorizations / Required Documents, plus an HSE Dashboard and an inter-contractor Challenge with real-time scoring.
Sanctions can be issued (formal warning, exclusion). A Word Exclusion file is auto-generated with full audit trail.
7. As-built Documentation
The as-built documentation is the set of final documents proving the work was correctly performed: as-built plans, notices, material certificates, regulatory PVs, warranty certificates, maintenance manuals. PunchLink centralizes collection with automatic email reminders. 96 predefined document types per lot.
8. Direction View
The Direction View is the page the PO or the CEO checks in the morning over coffee: everything is fine or there is an alert. 4 KPIs: weighted progress (by amount), budget (with green/orange/red color code), blocking reserves, DOE completeness.
9. Administration
My Company page: legal name, registration number, address, main contact, logo. These appear on all Word/PDF exports and emails sent in your name. Per-project branding: primary color, client logo, custom legal mentions, footer. Audit log: every critical action is tracked.
10. FAQ
Is my data mine?
Yes. Hosted on Supabase (eu-west-1, Ireland), GDPR compliant. Full export available anytime.
How many projects can I create?
STARTER: 5 active projects. STANDARD: 25. PRO: unlimited. Archived projects do not count toward quota.
And security?
TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest. Postgres Row-Level Security ensures contractors only see what concerns them. Full audit log.
